What's Next US Airways?

I am planning for a trip to chicago illinois to visit my sister. But i don't if i still want to do that now that other extra charges came out of no where. At first they charged second piece of luggage and next came the charge for your first bag, not to mention there the other fees, extra fees for choosing seats that you like and curbside check-in. And now, US Airways are charging 2$ for soda, juice and water (i hope its bottled water not the tap water in the fountain). Because of the rapid increasing of gas the extra fees and charge from the airlines come fast and furious.
